Lee & Thompson announces support for the Robes Project

3rd April 2017

Lee & Thompson is delighted to announce that the Robes Project has been chosen by the firm as this year’s Charity of the Year. The Robes Project is a small, grassroots charity that offers winter night shelter for homeless people in South London. This support not only allows shelter from the street, it also affords people the stability and time to make contact with services such as health and legal, to look for education and employment opportunities and find more permanent accommodation.

George Martin, Robes Chair of Trustees said: ‘Homelessness is a major social issue in our city, with the number of rough sleepers doubling over the past 6 years. We are delighted that Lee & Thompson have decided to choose Robes as their charity of the year, helping us address this problem. With your company’s support, we can offer a stepping stone out of homelessness and help people rebuild their lives.’

Reno Antoniades, Managing Partner, commented:

“We are very proud to be able to announce our partnership with the Robes Project. As a firm we voted on the cause we wanted to fundraise for over the next 12 months and there was huge enthusiasm for the Robes Project. Homelessness is a growing problem, especially in our community in London. It’s so impressive to see such a small charity having such a big effect. We are looking forward to finding exciting and bespoke ways in which we can raise funds and awareness for this charity’s vital work”
