We were joined by Anna Godas, Co-Founder and CEO of Dogwoof, at the latest Female Film Leaders talk, held at Lee & Thompson.

Anna talked to an intimate audience of junior film industry executives about her career path and the barriers which confronted her during her time steering the company from a two-person indie film distributor to a leading global brand in the field of film documentary. She drew on her experiences of successes and failures and spoke openly about addressing gender imbalance and building self-confidence for working in the global film industry.

Female Film Leaders is a not-for-profit forum which was set up as a practical response to the gender imbalance which pervades the film industry.  Lee & Thompson is delighted to support the organisation. This event was also sponsored by Sharp House, Bankside Films and Head Gear Films.
