Jocelyn Whinney
Jocelyn trained and qualified in 2007 as a technology lawyer at a leading city law firm. She gained invaluable in-house commercial law experience from an early stage in her career through secondments to eSure, Schroders and Google. She has a postgraduate diploma in E Commerce and Computer Law and experience of working on a wide variety of commercial and IP law matters including data protection.
Jocelyn also spent time working in the IT and technology department of an international firm advising clients ranging from large corporate entities to high net worth individuals before returning to work on Google’s commercial legal team.
Jocelyn joined the Digital Group at Lee & Thompson in October 2011 and is continuing to develop her expertise in the fast-moving digital environment through advising and providing strategic solutions to a mix of innovative and creative start-ups and established clients.
