Will has specialised in music and entertainment law since qualifying as a solicitor in 2004.
Will’s music clients include record labels, publishers, managers, producers, djs and artists , all of whom value the tailored advice he can give across the whole range of music industry contracts and related intellectual property matters. Will also has significant experience advising on live events, touring arrangements, sponsorship and endorsements.
Will is a also member of the firm’s Digital Group and regularly advises on the acquisition and exploitation of content via digital media, and the laws relating to the internet, e-commerce, and data protection.
As a founder member of the firm’s Theatre Group Will also represents a number of composers, authors, producers, managers, actors, agents, and orchestrators providing bespoke advice across the whole spectrum of contractual, legal and commercial issues surrounding the development and production of stage plays and musical theatre.
