Kieran Jay
Kieran joined Lee & Thompson in May 2011 as a partner. He qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and has specialised in music and sports industry work ever since.
Before joining Lee & Thompson, Kieran worked at the niche music law firm Bray & Krais Solicitors becoming a partner in 2003. In 2006 he joined Herbert Reeves & Co as a partner to work with Michael Kennedy in the Sports Department advising leading Premiership footballers and managers, athletes and agents on playing contracts, image rights arrangements and endorsements, broadcast arrangements, regulatory and disciplinary issues. He also maintained a talent based music and entertainment practice.
Kieran brings to Lee & Thompson a wide range of commercial experience in the music and sports industries and a strong artist-orientated music practice with leading artists, song-writers, producers and mixers and independent record and publishing companies. He advises on recording, publishing, management, live performance and endorsement agreements.
Kieran’s focus is the representation of new talent entering the music and sports arenas.
