David Andrews

Head of Employment,

David is a partner at Lee & Thompson and head of the firm’s Employment Group.

He has many years experience advising on contentious and non-contentious employment matters for a range of individuals and businesses, including those in TV, live events, marketing & brands, digital, fashion, publishing, sport, music, gaming, bio-tech, pharmaceuticals, software development and technology.

He advises on all types of employment matters including contracts, disciplinary issues, grievances, restructuring and redundancies, workplace harassment, performance management issues, unfair dismissal, unlawful discrimination, wrongful dismissal, breach of contract and disputes concerning post-termination restrictive covenants.

David has a wealth of experience in relation to mergers and acquisitions, business start-ups, outsourcing arrangements and “TUPE” transfers. He regularly advises in relation to, and drafts, the full range of employment documentation.

Also fully versed in corporate and commercial issues David advises clients in relation to matters such as joint venture arrangements, merchandising deals, supply agreements, master services agreements, outsourcing, live performance contracts, branding, and framework agreements.

David is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, has a degree in law from Warwick University and attended Chester School of Law.
