Lale Kemal


Lale is a solicitor in the firm’s Music Group.

Lale trained and worked as an associate in the Intellectual Property litigation team at Norton Rose Fulbright for 5 years. Following this, she worked in-house gaining further intellectual property and commercial music experience at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and the British Recorded Music Industry (BPI) respectively, including in relation to the BRIT Awards 2016. As a result, Lale has experience working with a diverse range of clients, from artists and designers to larger corporates and technology companies.

Lale has achieved a BA in Historical Studies at Bristol University, an MA in History of International Relations at the London School of Economics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law & Practice at the University of Oxford.

In 2016 Lale joined Lee & Thompson’s Music Group where she advises clients across the music industry, including record labels, publishers, managers, producers, writers and recording artists.
