Lawrence Engel
Lawrence is a partner and head of the firm’s highly regarded Music Group. He qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and has specialised in the music industry ever since.
In 2003, he co-founded the niche music law firm Engel Monjack and then moved the business into Lee & Thompson in 2009.
Lawrence has experience in all aspects of the music industry and represents an extensive list of recording artists, record companies, music publishing companies, managers, producers and songwriters. He also regularly advises on investment deals within the industry and has particular experience in the sale and purchase of recording and publishing catalogues and the related due diligence process.
