Danielle heads up Lee & Thompson’s Employment Team. A highly experienced employment lawyer, she advises employers and senior executives on the full spectrum of employment matters, with particular expertise in maternity and pregnancy discrimination and employment tribunal litigation.
Danielle acts for both large employers and employers with a high profile, clients including a leading integrated marketing agency, a major public service broadcaster and a pioneering UK clearing bank. She has achieved significant settlements for employees in high-profile maternity discrimination cases, including against major technology companies.
Danielle’s early experience as a Disputes lawyer sharpened her instincts in contentious matters and laid the foundation for her specialism in complex employment disputes. Her expertise in business immigration, enables her to advise seamlessly across the many matters that span both disciplines: from international recruitment programmes and executive relocations to complex terminations where a person’s immigration status requires careful handling.
As Staff Partner at Lee & Thompson, Danielle brings a unique inside understanding of how organisations function, enabling her to provide employers with particularly informed, effective and realistic advice.
Danielle serves as Lee & Thompson’s Training Principal, reflecting her commitment to developing the next generation of lawyers.
Danielle is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association (ELA) and the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA). She studied History at UCL, graduating with a first-class degree.
