An experienced Senior Associate in our Film & TV team, Fi specialises in advising television and film producers throughout the full lifecycle of their projects, from early development through to structuring finance plans, production and distribution. Her advice is grounded, commercially astute and tailored to the needs of creative businesses.
With significant in-house production experience, Fi takes a pragmatic, solutions-focussed approach that reflects the commercial realities of the industry. She is known for being incisive, clear and responsive, with a strong understanding of both legal and production priorities.
Alongside production work, she advises production companies on mergers and acquisitions, with particular expertise in negotiating first-look and output deals.
Originally from Wales, Fi lived in Italy for five years and spent many years working in London before settling in Cardiff. Legal 500 described her as “smart, innovative, kind, efficient, and always a joy to work with” – a reflection of the values she brings to every client relationship.
Fi read Geography at University College London before continuing to a Bachelor of Law at College of Law. She’s on the Board of Trustees for We Are Fio, a charity supporting global majority improvement in theatre in Wales.
