An advertising and marketing specialist advising brands, agencies and talent across all touchpoints of the sector. Rebecca combines extensive experience in clearance, licensing, production, talent and media with expertise in AI and data privacy (CIPP/E, CIPM certified). Her extensive in-house experience as General Counsel allows her to easily slot into existing legal teams providing ad-hoc support as needed. Known for pragmatic, business-focused advice that keeps projects moving.

Rebecca is a Partner in our Commercial, Advertising & Marketing Group. She joined the firm in 2025 from international advertising group, VCCP, where she was Group General Counsel. Rebecca has over 15 years of experience advising the creative industries – most of which has been in the advertising and marketing sector – advising on matters including clearance and regulatory compliance, content licensing, brand partnerships and talent agreements, media buying and planning, digital and tech, data privacy, AI and general commercial matters.

Prior to her time at VCCP, Rebecca spent six years in Warner/Chappell Music’s legal department, where she covered all aspects of music publishing including both commercial deals and contentious matters.

She trained at specialist IP firm, Rouse & Co International, where she specialised in advising on brand protection and anti-counterfeiting for luxury fashion and lifestyle brands.
