A Senior Associate acting for a broad range of clients across both the film and television sector with a particular passion for advising production companies and producers during all stages of development, production and exploitation of a project.
Janey works with clients ranging from individual talent, rights owners, production companies and emerging platforms, keen to advising on projects from development through to distribution, providing constant advice, expertise and industry knowledge to clients throughout the entire life cycle of a production.
Janey trained at Bird & Bird and completed a six-month in-house secondment at Guinness World Records, qualifying in 2019. She then gained crucial legal experience in the film and television sectors as an Associate at Sheridans, before joining Lee & Thompson in 2022.
She read Philosophy at the University of York and completed her GDL and LPC at BPP Law School. She is a member of Women in Film & TV and often attends Edinburgh TV Festival, FOCUS and Content London.
