L&T doubles fundraising target for Children with Cancer UK

9th April 2026

We are delighted to have more than doubled our £10k fundraising target for our Charity of the Year 2025/26, Children with Cancer UK, raising a total of £20,035.57 over the past year.

Children with Cancer UK, voted by staff as our chosen charity,  works to fund research, support families emotionally and financially, and raise awareness of childhood cancer, ensuring that children with cancer have the best possible chance of survival with access to the best possible care and support, regardless of their economic situation or where they live in the UK.

Members of L&T’s Charity Committee planned a mixture of office-based fundraising concepts for staff, such as the L&T Pub Quiz, Christmas bauble making and a football shirt competition, in addition to favourites such as rooftop ice-cream sales, a bake-off competition, Pancake Day celebrations, our annual Walk for Walker, raffles, a tombola and media flurry of virtual sweepstakes, always seeking to bring the firm together to raise money and awareness for an important cause.

In addition to our fundraising concepts, L&T Partner Reno Antoniades’ individual fundraising challenge had a significant impact on our total, when he completed an impressive 330 km trek along the famous Coast to Coast pathway, which runs from the Lake District crossing in to the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors to finish at Robin Hood Bay.

It has been a pleasure to raise funds for this incredible charity. We thank each person who supported this memorable year of fundraising. A note from Erinne Colhourn, CWC UK’s Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager:

“We’ve truly appreciated the opportunity to work with L&T, and we’re very grateful for your support and enthusiasm throughout. It has been a pleasure collaborating with you all.”
