Milena is a Trade Mark Attorney in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team. She advises clients on various aspects of trade mark law, including brand clearance for use in the marketplace or registration at IP offices, national and multi-jurisdictional trade mark filing strategies, as well as dispute resolution.
A Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, Milena joined Lee & Thompson in 2022. She has over five years specialist experience in trade mark law and related IP rights from both boutique and international law firms. In addition to advising clients across the film, television and entertainment sectors, Milena has also advised clients beyond the creative sectors, including food and beverage, retail and sustainability.
Milena studied Law and European Legal Studies at the University of Aberdeen, she then completed her Masters in Intellectual Property Law and a postgraduate certificate in Trade Mark Law both from Queen Mary University of London. Milena went on to gain a professional certificate in Trade Mark Practice from Nottingham Law School.
