Simon has overall responsibility for the Finance, People & Talent, IT and Property / Facilities departments, whilst also working closely with the Head of BD & Marketing.
The role helps to initiate and implement the firm’s ongoing strategy and business plans as well ensuring the Business Services teams deliver quality and value.
Other responsibilities include liaising with external parties including banks, audit and tax advisors, insurance brokers, landlord, other property consultants and various other key support services.
Simon is a CIMA qualified accountant with nearly 25 years’ experience having worked at Ernst & Young, then across Financial Services (Lehman Brothers and Lloyds Banking Group) and then most recently the Legal market (over 15 years in the latter) at Eversheds Sutherland and L&T.
Roles across that time were in Commercial Finance and Business Management, supporting and influencing senior business leaders. This led to the switch to Lee & Thompson which brought all that experience into one role.
