Christos delivers legal training on Film Financing and Distribution in Vienna for the International Screen Institute

On Tuesday 23 June, Film & TV Partner Christos Michaels was invited to talk about single source finance and distribution fundamentals in the film and TV industry to Producers, Business & Legal Affairs professionals, Line Producers, Project Managers, Distributors and Production Managers at the International Screen Institute‘s 2026 Business & Legal Affairs course in Vienna.

His sessions, which he delivered at Hotel Schani Wien Hauptbahnhof, were called “Dealing with Streamers and Studios” and “Sales and Distribution Agreements”.

This year’s course included participants and speakers from 11 jurisdictions (Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Iraq, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Luxemburg, Portugal, the Netherlands and the UK).

Covering the full lifecycle of a screen project, the course aims to instil practical knowledge, confidence and understanding of the evolving business and legal aspects of film and TV contracts.

The International Screen Institute is a non-profit organisation providing first-class legal training for European and international film and TV creatives and executives. It is co-funded by the Austrian Film Institute and Creative Europe Media.
