Lee & Thompson to hike the Jurassic Coast for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK

6th August 2026

Lee & Thompson is taking on a demanding one-day hike along the Jurassic Coast this September, in aid of our Charity of the Year, Ronald McDonald House Charities.

On Friday 4 September 2026, 23 members of the team will walk along the coastline near Swanage in Dorset. The route will be tough, comprising the Jurassic Coast’s headlands with repeated steep climbs up onto the cliffs and back down into the bays below. In total, the walkers will cover around 30km and climb more than 1,100m before finishing at the picturesque Lulworth Cove.

Ronald McDonald House Charities operates UK-wide programmes including Ronald McDonald Houses, which provide free or low-cost accommodation near hospitals for families with seriously ill children. The charity also runs Family Rooms inside hospitals for caregivers to rest, alongside mobile medical clinics and community health initiatives aimed at improving access to care for underserved populations.

Colleagues and friends of the firm wishing to support the walkers and help us reach our £5,000 target can sponsor our challenge here.

Lee & Thompson voted to support Ronald McDonald House Charities UK as its Charity of the Year for 2026/27, committing to a programme of fundraising activities running until 31 March 2027.
