A commercial and data protection lawyer, advising clients across the creative and technology industries on matters including commercial contracts, intellectual property, advertising and data protection.
Harrison is a Senior Associate in Lee & Thompson’s Commercial group, advising on commercial contracts, intellectual property and advertising law. He also has experience advising clients on data protection matters in both day-to-day compliance and transactional contexts.
He acts for clients across the creative industries, from brands, agencies, production and design companies to theatre companies, musicians and other performing artists. Harrison also regularly advises a household-name cinema chain on commercial, technology and data protection matters.
Harrison brings in-house legal experience to his role from his commercial law secondment at insurer Legal & General, and two further secondments at PRS for Music, where he focused on data protection and compliance work.
Before joining Lee & Thompson in 2023, Harrison trained and qualified as a Commercial Associate at Macfarlanes, where he practised for two years post-qualification. He advised on commercial aspects of corporate transactions alongside standalone commercial, intellectual property, technology and data protection work.
Harrison graduated from the University of Bristol in 2014 with a first-class degree in Philosophy. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2021, he spent a year teaching English in Barcelona, and went on to work as a personal assistant to a high-profile actress. Harrison is CIPP/E qualified (a leading European data protection certification awarded by the International Association of Privacy Professionals) and is a member of the Society for Computers & Law.
