Julian Ward joins Lee & Thompson

We are delighted to welcome Julian Ward to the Partnership.

Julian is a digital media, IP and technology lawyer with over 16 years’ experience working across the creative industries advising clients on all matters relating to digital content, entertainment and publishing.

He has particular expertise in the video games industry and the digital broadcasting and content sector – online, on mobile and in social media – and works closely with UK and international developers, publishers, broadcasters, rights holders, tech entrepreneurs and innovators.

Julian joins from Hamlins where he was Head of Digital Media, having previously been Head of Business and Legal Affairs for Digital Retail and Games at BBC Worldwide. Prior to this he was General Counsel and Head of Legal at Codemasters, the leading video games developer and publisher.
