Last weekend Andrew Forbes, Head of Dispute Resolution and Gordon Williams, Head of Brand Protection separately addressed attendees of MIDEM in Cannes.

Andrew gave a presentation on anti-piracy measures to the ICMP (the international representative body of the music publishing industry), discussing the various strategies available which deal with online infringement of copyright in music.

Gordon addressed the International Associate of Entertainment Lawyers, providing an update from the UK on the legislative changes and significant updates that have impacted the UK entertainment industry over the past year. You can find Gordon’s address in full here.
