L&T facilitates Equal Access training by Film London called ‘Breaking the Glass Ceiling’

20th July 2023

Last week, Film London ran its annual Equal Access learning programme, “Breaking the Glass Ceiling”, at Lee & Thompson again for a new 12-strong cohort of UK-based film and TV professionals from ethnically diverse groups.

The 2023 programme began with a Lee & Thompson session in which we sat down with the cohort to lead an engaging roundtable discussion on the pressing legal and business affairs considerations affecting the industry both now and in the future.  Speaking from Lee & Thompson was Head of TV Richard Lever, Head of Film Christos Michaels, Partner Anwen Griffiths and Senior Associate Vicky Gaisford.

The impressive attendees hold production, development, distribution, directing and writing roles from production houses, finance companies and independent freelancers too.  All Breaking the Glass Ceiling sessions were facilitated by programme director Jill Tandy of Film London.

We were delighted to welcome panellists for the workforce diversity-themed panel discussion from leaders at Netflix, ITV, All3Media and Everything D&I, as well as for the leadership-themed session for which programme alumni joined in, too.
