Gordon Williams, Head of Dispute Resolution today addressed the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers at MIDEM in Cannes.

Tasked with updating the gathering of his peers from around the globe with an update from the UK, Gordon spoke about some of the legislative changes and significant judgments that have impacted the UK entertainment industry over the past year. This included the two significant amends to the Copyright Act together with a detailed account of the impact of the ongoing phone hacking litigation, in which Lee & Thompson continues to be involved.
