Lee & Thompson is proud to have advised independent production company It’s All Made Up Productions on the sale of a minority stake in the company to production company Avalon.

The deal, led by Lee & Thompson’s corporate partner Lucy Strauss, will see the company benefit from Avalon’s existing production and talent management capabilities. Also advising from Lee & Thompson were film & TV partner Alastair Mavor, corporate associate Ria Sadrudin and employment associate Neha Solanki.

It’s All Made Up Productions was co-founded by Philip Barantini (director of Boiling Point and Adolescence) and Samantha Beddoe last year. The company already has projects in development with major broadcasters, studios and streaming platforms, with a focus on TV drama, film and documentaries.
