British Rap Triumphs at 2018 Ivor Novello Awards for Lee & Thompson Clients

It was a wonderful day for a selection of Lee & Thompson’s music clients who have gained recognition for and picked up prestigious prizes at the 63rd Ivor Novello songwriting awards yesterday.

Stormzy took home the coveted Album of the Year award for Gang Signs & Prayer, whilst Dave’s single Question Time was named Contemporary Song of the Year.

Our congratulations extend to CamelPhat who also received a nomination for Contemporary Song of the Year with their single Cola, a collaboration with Elderbrook.

Lee & Thompson’s prolific Music Group was delighted to join the celebrations yesterday at Grosvenor House.

The Ivors celebrate, honour and reward excellence in British and Irish music and are voted for by fellow musicians in the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA) in association with PRS for Music.
