Huge congratulations to newly qualified solicitor, Sevine Dandan, who is the first participant of the Lee & Thompson Vacation Scheme to qualify as a solicitor at the firm. Sevine was a participant in the 2020 Vac Scheme and subsequently joined the firm as a paralegal. Today she completes her training contract at the firm and begins work as an associate in the Music Team.

Our Summer Vacation Scheme was set up in 2019 to open our doors as widely as possible to a more diverse talent pool and give participants a real taste of working in a firm that specialises in the media, tech and creative industries. We are delighted that nine former Vacation Scheme participants currently hold permanent positions at the firm as paralegals and trainees.

Looking back at her training, Sevine says: “I would encourage any aspiring solicitor with an interest in the media, tech and creative industries to apply for the vacation scheme at Lee & Thompson. Having been at the firm for over three years now, it’s a good representation of the kind of work you will be involved in and also the lovely team of lawyers and support staff who make the firm a special place to work at. I’m looking forward to my new role in the Music team and I’m especially grateful to all of those who have helped me throughout my training.”
