Lee & Thompson Hires Three New Associates

We are delighted to announce the appointment of three new associates to the firm. Their addition to the Film & TV, Music and Employment Groups will help support the respective departments with their growing client base.

The new joiners are:

Carrie Finlay has joined the Film & TV Group where she will primarily focus on television related matters. Prior to joining the firm she worked for Canada’s leading independent production company, Muse Entertainment. A joint British/Canadian national, Carrie qualified to practice law in both New York (2013) and Quebec (2012). Carrie’s prior experience will help her assist the TV group on all matters related to the development, production, financing and distribution of television productions.

Lale Kemal has joined the Music Group. She trained and worked as an Associate in the Intellectual Property litigation team at Norton Rose Fulbright for 5 years. Following this, she worked in-house gaining further intellectual property and commercial music experience at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and the British Recorded Music Industry (BPI) respectively, including in relation to the BRIT Awards 2016.

April (formerly Efrat) Gordon joined the Employment Group, having previously trained and worked as an Associate at a leading boutique firm in the West End. Efrat prior experience of dealing with multi-jurisdictional employment matters, across a variety of sectors, will support the firm’s thriving Employment Group.
