Lee & Thompson launches THE MUSIC AGENDA series in association with The BPI

16th October 2018

Earlier this year, Associate, Noorjhan Flanagan wrote a thought provoking article about the issue of gender inequality in the music industry.  In the weeks that followed the article’s publication, Noorjhan received a great response including from others concerned that the music industry was still not doing enough to ensure that women and working parents felt able to succeed. It was clear that there was a debate to be had and THE MUSIC AGENDA was born.

We are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with the recorded music industry’s trade association BPI and launched THE MUSIC AGENDA – a two-part event series which will address the many issues facing women and working parents in the music business.  We have brought together a diverse range of representatives including some of the top names in the business – both industry executives and creative talent – to discuss what is working and what needs improving, to talk about their own experiences and to try to find some viable solutions.

The first of these invitation-only events will take place on 1st November 2018 followed by a second on 4th December 2018.  Follow our social media updates about #TheMusicAgenda2018 on Twitter and LinkedIn and watch this space for some interesting insights from the events.
