As Inside Pictures wrapped its Class of 2018 programme this week, our Head of Film (and Inside Pictures alumni) Christos Michaels joined a panel of top-level film executives to assess participants’ project presentations.

Christos shared the esteemed judging panel with Nik Powell – Former Director of the National Film & Television School, Toby Hill – Head of Acquisitions & Development at Westend Films, Alexander Janssen – Head of Acquisitions at Universum Film, Paul Miller – Producer/Financier at Escape Pictures, Mark Woolley – Finance and Commercial Director at Ecosse Films, Pim Hermeling – CEO at September Film Distribution, Julie Baines – Producer at Dan Films, Sara Boss – Head of Sales at Viond GmbH, Matthew Baker – Director of Acquisitions at HanWay Films, Genevieve Lemal – CEO at SCOPE Invest, Annabel Hutton – Senior Account Director at Premier PR and Jill Tandy – Executive Producer at Inside Pictures.

This  final stage of the programme followed a week-long business development module of the programme which took place in November 2018, when Christos shared his perspective on studio business affairs with participants, at Lee & Thompson’s offices.  We also hosted the course’s first ever virtual reality ‘spacewalk’ experience for the students following a immersive storytelling session.
