Lee & Thompson To Take On The Brecon Beacons

10th September 2019

Over a third of Lee & Thompson’s legal minds will be tackling the Brecon Beacon “Pen y Fan Horseshoe Hike” for the firm’s Charity of the Year, The Midi Music Company (MMC) on Saturday 5 October.

The team, headed by Simon Boyden, will be trekking a 21km long route in the South Wales mountain range in a single day – with an overall ascent of 800m which is equivalent to the height of the Burj Khalifa Tower.

MMC’s objective is to spark interest in the rich culture of music amongst young people not only in the UK but all over the world.  Based in Deptford, the charity provides live music seminars, instrumental classes and other great opportunities for aspiring artists.  The charity seeks to support young people looking to carve a career in the music industry and its courses have been developed for those with learning difficulties and disabilities.

The team includes: Gordon Williams, Antony Swiatek, Ariane H. Simard, Andrew Thompson, Christos Michaels, Damian McParland, Dominic Bray, Fergus Carson-Williams, Fi Peet, Freddie Hatchett, Frankie Miller, Henrietta Currie, Huw Morris, Kieran Jay, Laura Gibson, Leo Dawkins, Lucy Pether, Mark Cohen, Martyn Bailey, Mark Stafford, Matthew MacLachlan, Poppy Evans, Richard Burnham, Rebecca Bennis, Reno Antoniades, Sarah Cundall, Sam Goodman, Simon Boyden and Tim Fowler.
