Lee & Thompson’s Dispute Resolution team was invited to the annual Amsterdam Dance Event for the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers (IAEL)’s Legal Summit 2022, the premier global music market conference, to update global peers on music industry matters.

Music litigator and partner, Gordon Williams spoke on Thursday 20/10 at the Summit’s masterclass on ‘Legal Issues Facing DJs/Electronic Artists’ alongside US and Italian entertainment lawyers, as well co-chairing the IAEL Legal Update global panel for Entertainment & Technology. There he offered a UK-centric briefing on the high-profile UK copyright infringement case for Ed Sheeran’s track, Shape of You. We were delighted to be supporting the IAEL programme once again and also attending was partner Mark Stafford from our Dispute Resolution team.
