Multimillion-pound investment secured for Varley activewear brand

Lee & Thompson is delighted to have advised women’s activewear brand Varley in securing a significant investment from two high-profile entrepreneurs to help the company realise its ambitious growth strategy.

One of the investors is Lavendo Investments owned by Ron Dennis CBE, founder of the McLaren Technology Group and the other is Danish entrepreneur Anders Holch Povlsen, CEO of international clothes retailer Bestseller and the largest shareholder in the British internet clothes retailer Asos.com.

Corporate Partner, Oli Shipton advised the founders of Varley, Ben Mead and Lara Mead, on the deal, assisted by Senior Associate Lucy Strauss and Associate Attila Hunter.
