We are delighted to announce the appointment of Danielle Lobel-Weiss (previously Danielle Ramdel).

Danielle will join the firm on 3 August 2022 from Teacher Stern where she was a Partner in the Employment team and head of the Immigration practice. At Lee & Thompson she will be reunited with former colleague, James Baker who now heads up the Employment Team. Danielle and James worked together at Teacher Stern until James moved to Lee & Thompson in 2020. Danielle’s significant employment experience includes advising employers with challenging employment situations. She supports both employers and employees on the full spectrum of employment advice and has particularly strong experience in employment tribunal litigation.  Her practice both complements and enhances Lee & Thompson’s existing Employment work.

Immigration work for corporate and individual clients is also a part of Danielle’s repertoire and will be a new offering for Lee & Thompson.  Danielle advises clients on immigration and nationality law including sponsor licence and skilled worker applications for corporate clients.

Danielle’s appointment brings number of lawyers in the Employment team to five, growing steadily since James Baker joined in 2020.  The Lee & Thompson partnership also now increases to 28, the largest in the firm’s history.
