Lee & Thompson was delighted to host another ever-popular ‘Female Film Leaders’ career talk for up-and-coming female film executives.

Last night we welcomed inspiring guest Margery Bone of independent production outfit Bonafide Films, who spoke of her illustrious career to date and shared her experience of producing British film and TV drama content.

Cutting through the wider industry dialogue around gender imbalance, Margery went on to talk about achieving work-life balance and brilliantly voiced the importance of working and leading with confidence as a female in the media industry.

Aspiring film executives in the audience included independent producers and directors as well as representatives from April Pictures, BBC, Gingerbread Pictures, Signature and Singer Studios.

Female Film Leaders is a not-for-profit forum which was set up as a practical response to the gender imbalance which pervades the film sector.  Lee & Thompson is delighted to support the organisation. This event was also sponsored by Sharp House and Bankside Films.
