The Zone of Interest selected for Official Competition at Cannes 2023

Huge congratulations to our clients and the wider team who worked on ‘The Zone of Interest‘, a remarkable film directed by Jonathan Glazer, that has been selected for Official Competition at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. As well as advising the production, Film Partner, Reno Antoniades, is Executive Producer for the film, a coproduction between the UK and Poland.

In addition, Molly Manning Walker’s directorial debut ‘How to Have Sex‘ has been announced in the Un Certain Regard selection. Lee & Thompson advised on the financing of the film.

The films will be premiered at the 76th edition of the international competition which opens on 16 May.

L&T has also advised on five of the eight features selected for Great8, the annual Cannes buyers’ showcase of UK films from emerging directors organised by the British Film Institute (BFI) and British Council.
